Body Found In Exploded Home Identified As Missing Man

EVELETH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a body found in the ruins of an exploded house on northern Minnesota's Iron Range is that of man who went missing hours earlier.

The St. Louis County sheriff's office said Thursday that 26-year-old Christopher Anglin was found dead inside the home south of Eveleth. He was last seen at his home nearby Sunday night. The explosion happened around 1 a.m. Monday.

The homeowner wasn't there at the time of the explosion, and authorities initially thought no one was hurt. Anglin was later found dead as heavy equipment was used to excavate the site.

The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office and state fire marshal.
