Police: Body Found In Minneapolis Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say a body was found in a Minneapolis park Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, a passerby found what appears to be a woman's body in Bryn Mawr Park.

Investigators are on scene. Police said it is unclear how the person died, so they are investigating this as a suspicious death.

"At this point they're still trying to figure out exactly what may have led up to this person's death. Police are asking for folks who may have information to call the Minneapolis Police Department tips line at 612-692-TIPS," Scott Seroka with the Minneapolis Police Department said. "But at this point it's really tough to speculate on what may have happened or what may have led up to this death."
