St. Paul FD: Woman Rescued After Fall From River Bluff

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul firefighters rescued a woman who fell from a bluff near Indian Mounds Park Saturday afternoon.

Crews responded to an area near Mounds Boulevard and Plum Street just before 4:30 p.m.

The fire department says the woman and a man walked some 80 feet down a river bluff before the woman fell about 20 feet.

A squad used a tactical rope rescue to pull the woman back up to safety.

She was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
