Blue Earth Co. Officials Investigating Minneopa Sandstone Carvings

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Teenagers carved political messages into the sandstone at Minneopa State Park near the waterfall. The message has already been shaved off by park workers.

DNR officials says they will often do that when messages are overly vulgar or political. It's illegal to deface state park property and carving is not allowed.

No arrests were made in this case and those responsible were asked to leave the area. The case has been referred to Blue Earth County officials.
