Pedestrian Hit By Car In Bloomington, In Critical Condition

UPDATE: The victim, 60-year-old James Walter Neville, has passed away.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A pedestrian was hit by a car in Bloomington Thursday evening and is now hospitalized, in critical condition.

Bloomington Police say it happened at around 7 p.m. at the intersection of West Old Shakopee Road and Beard Avenue. Responding officers administered first aid before the victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The Bloomington Traffic Unit of the city's police department is investigating the incident.
