Blaine Man Killed In Wisconsin Motorcycle Crash ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities have identified a 46-year-old Blaine man killed in a motorcycle crash in western Wisconsin on Sunday.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the crash just after 1 p.m. on Highway 35 near 480th Avenue in Pierce County near Prescott. When officers arrived, a motorcyclist had lost control and hit a guardrail. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was identified by authorities Monday as Troy Patrick Schroeder. What led up to the crash is under investigation.
