Blaine Man Killed In Wisconsin Motorcycle Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 46-year-old Blaine man died Sunday in a motorcycle crash in western Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 1:01 p.m. Sunday on Highway 35 near 480th Street in Pierce County near Prescott. When officers arrived, a motorcyclist had lost control and hit a guardrail.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The man has not been identified pending a notification of family.

What led up to the driver losing control is under investigation. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office, Prescott Fire Department and River Falls Ambulance assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol at the scene.
