Blackhawks C Shaw Out For Game 2 Against Wild

CHICAGO (AP) — Center Andrew Shaw will miss Game 2 of the Chicago Blackhawks' playoff series against the Minnesota Wild due to a lower-body injury.

Shaw left Friday night's series opener after he was hit hard by Minnesota defenseman Clayton Stoner in the first period. Shaw appeared to be favoring his right side as he made his way off the ice.

Coach Joel Quenneville says Shaw will travel with the team to Minnesota for Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday night.

Quenneville also says forward Kris Versteeg likely will return to the lineup Sunday after he was scratched in each of Chicago's previous two playoff games.

For Minnesota, coach Mike Yeo says forward Justin Fontaine will be active in Game 2 and Stephane Veilleux will be among the scratches.
