Minnesota's big Christmas week warmup starts Sunday
Sunday will be nice and sunny, with much lighter winds and temperatures around average.
There are some chances for light snow Sunday night into Monday morning in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Less than an inch of accumulation is expected from the metro on east, but there could be some slick spots during the Monday morning commute.
Highs will climb into the 30s next week, with highs near 40 for Christmas Day on Thursday.
Temps will drop back into the low 30s next weekend.
