Bicyclist Killed In Minneapolis Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a bicyclist who was struck and killed on the interstate in Minneapolis was from Alexandria.

Twenty-one-year-old Jacob Kato was struck and killed by a driver about 3 a.m. Sunday while biking on I-94 near West Broadway Ave.

The driver or passenger in the car weren't injured. Authorities say alcohol likely contributed to the death.
