Bicyclist Injured After Colliding With Jeep In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A bicyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a car in Minneapolis early Wednesday morning.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 1 a.m. a Jeep and cyclist collided on 2nd Street North, just north of Lowry Avenue.

Police said the driver of the Jeep stopped and cooperative with authorities.

Alcohol was not believed to have played a role in the collision.

The cyclist was transported to HCMC with critical injuries but was stabilized after arrival.

The crash is currently under investigation.
