Patrol: Bicyclist, 56, Hit By Car In Waseca

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The State Patrol says a 56-year-old bicyclist was hit by a car in Waseca Sunday morning.

The collision happened just after 11 a.m. at the intersection of 6th Street Northeast and 4th Avenue Northeast. The cyclist, Patrick Flintrop, suffered serious injuries.

The patrol says Flintrop, of Waseca, was making a left turn onto 4th Avenue when he was hit broadside by a car driven by 19-year-old Mariah Conway, who is also from Waseca.

Emergency brought Flintrop to a hospital for treatment.
