Deputies Investigate Suspicious Death In Bayport

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death Tuesday in Bayport.

Police responded to a call at about 5 a.m., and found a woman with a gunshot wound in a vehicle. She later died at an area hospital.

Streets near 4th Avenue have been closed during the investigation.

Bayport police say no one is in custody, and there is no threat to the public.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with this case.
