2 Years After Barway Collins' Disappearance, Community Gathers For Memorial

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's been two years since a Twins Cities boy was killed by his father.

Saturday, people came together to remember Barway Collins. The 12-year-old went missing in March of 2015, and was found in the Mississippi River two weeks later.

Saturday, community members gathered for a worship service at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal to remember Barway.

Barway's father Pierre Collins pleaded guilty to his murder.

He was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
