Baker Park Reserve Beaches Closed Due To E. Coli Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Beaches at Baker Park Reserve are closed Thursday due to high E. coli counts.

Signs posted at beaches, such as Lake Independence, alerted visitors that beaches were closed until further notice.

Park officials confirmed high E. coli counts as the cause of closure.

Beaches will be closed until further notice.
