Baby, Woman Taken To Hospital After 2 Car Crash In St. Cloud

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman and a 9-month-old child were taken to a hospital in St. Cloud, Minn. after being involved in a two car crash Friday morning.

According to St. Cloud police, at 6:20 a.m. a car traveling westbound on 12th Street went through a red light at 33rd Avenue and struck another vehicle.

Kyle Seamans, 30, was cited for a semaphore violation after running the light.

Police said, Seamans told them he was reaching for his phone that he dropped.

The car struck by Seamans was driven by a 27-year-old female with a 9-month old boy in the back seat.

Both were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.

Police are investigating the crash.
