Baby Orangutan Celebrates 1st Birthday At Como Zoo

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Como Zoo celebrated the first birthday of one of its smallest animals in a big way.

Zookeepers held a party for Kemala the orangutan Thursday. Like other 1-year-olds, she got to enjoy a cake and juice at her party.

But the real fun came from the decorations. She wrapped herself in the streamers and rolled around the ape house.
