Police: Baby Girl Found Safe After Reported Abduction In Brooklyn Center

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Brooklyn Center police says a 5-month-old girl is safe after her mother reported that she had been kidnapped Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 7000 block of Camden Avenue North at about 4:15 p.m. after the mother told police "an acquaintance" drove off with her infant. Police soon discovered that the acquaintance wasn't actually involved.
