Authorities Investigating Cause In Burnsville Apartment Fire

BURNSVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Authorities are trying to determine what caused a fire at an apartment building in Burnsville that displaced dozens of people.

Firefighters responded to the Pines of Burnsville Apartments about 1 a.m. Tuesday. Residents of 36 units were helped outside, and no injuries were reported.

The building was heavily damaged, with part of the roof falling in.

The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army are helping displaced residents.
