Authorities ID Woman Killed In St. Cloud Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified a woman who died more than two weeks after a fire at a residence in St. Cloud.

Fire crews were called to the residence on the 1900 block of 1st St. N. on Nov. 22. A woman inside the home was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. She died Monday night.

A 19-year-old male victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for injuries sustained in the fire and released. An 18-year-old male was also assessed at the scene by paramedics and refused treatment.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as 85-year-old Sally Ann Douglas. Authorities said she died of complications from smoke inhalation. Her manner of death is under investigation.

St. Cloud Police are investigating the incident. The St. Cloud Fire Department said what caused the fire is still under investigation.
