Authorities: 1 Pound Of Meth Seized In Moorhead; 2 Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people are in jail after an overnight Moorhead methamphetamine bust, according to city officials.

Moorhead officials say that shortly after midnight, narcotics investigators seized around one pound of meth on the 3600 block of 8 Street South and arrested two people on felony narcotics charges.

The arrestees have been identified as 35-year-old Krista Buggs of Blaine and 37-year-old Wedell Mickens of Minnetonka. They are both being held in the Clay County Jail on first-degree controlled substance charges.

Officials say this was a joint investigation that involves members of the Lakes to River Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, Fargo DEA Drug Task Force, and the Cass County Drug Task Force.
