Attorney: Teen Accused Of Shooting Teacher Didn't Go To The Bar

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - -- Nineteen-year-old Bailey Garcia is facing charges after allegedly shooting 46-year-old David Frigaard last weekend in Washington County.

Attorney Ryan Pacyga says there are rumors out there that Garcia shot Frigaard after not being served at a bar.

"He had not been at the bar that day," Pacyga said. "He did not know Mr. Frigaard. This was just a chance occurrence."

Pacyga says Garcia suffers from severe depression and anxiety and was suicidal the night of the shooting.
