At Look At This Week's Unseasonably Warm Forecast

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota is starting off December with temperatures that don't bode well for a white Christmas.

WCCO-TV meteorologist Matt Brickman says Monday's highs look to be in the mid-40s, with sunshine and breezes from the southwest. Overnight temperatures will barely dip below freezing.

The average high temperature for this time of year is 30 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The average low is 15 degrees.

And the mild weather will continue into the week. Highs look to be above 40 through Friday, with a chance of rain on Thursday.

But snow-lovers shouldn't fret quite yet, Brickman says.

"We've got at least one chance of snow in the forecast – that'll be Saturday afternoon and evening," he said.

Perhaps Saturday will be a #Top10WxDay.
