ASPIRE Athlete Of The Week For March 21, 2014: Reid Travis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- He has enjoyed a high school career rivaled by few, winning state titles in all three of his varsity seasons, and he has Stanford set in his future.
That's why DeLaSalle's Reid Travis is our Athlete of the Week.

Travis capped off his high school career the way it basically started…with a state championship.
It was DeLaSalle's third straight.
"For me, it's everything," Travis said, adding: "This is what we've been working for all season, all my career."
What has defined his career has not been points or rebounds, but what he does to put up numbers through his commitment.
"He's a marvelous young man," said his coach, Dave Thorson. "He's an incredible worker. His work ethic is simply extraordinary, so we're really proud of him."
Stanford is slated for next year, but Travis will be forever tied to De LaSalle.
"I'll remember the people the most," he said. "I mean, the cherishable memories that I've made with my teammates, my coaches, the faculty. As we saw when we went to state, the community rallied around us. I think that was the biggest thing."
And when those people remember this athlete, how will he be described?
"Legendary," Thorson said.
