These are the classics. Honestly, is there anything better than fresh chocolate chip cookies that melt right in your mouth?
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup butter flavored shortening
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 oz chocolate chips (1 bag, typically)
- 1/2 cup almonds (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix your white and brown sugars and shortening in a bowl.
- Add the three eggs, one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix thoroughly.
