MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Anoka Police used the PIT maneuver to end a high-speed chase involving a stolen refrigeration van Tuesday afternoon.

Employees of Pierce Refrigeration in Anoka noticed one of their fleet vans, which was parked behind the business with keys inside, had been stolen at about 11:15 a.m., according to Anoka County dispatch.

Surveillance footage showed a man walk up to the van, jump in and speed off. An officer spotted the van at about 1 p.m. and attempted to make a stop, but the suspect drove off.
