Anoka Man, 30, Charged In String Of Robberies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 30-year-old Anoka man has been arrested and charged in connection to a string of robberies north of the metro area, according to the Anoka County Attorney's Office.

Jason Tyler Roesler faces two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery and three counts of second-degree aggravated robbery in connection to nine robberies, which began in September 2015.

Roesler is accused of robbing convenience stores and liquor stores in the cities of Blaine, Ham Lake, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes and Mounds View. He allegedly covered his face with a bandana or mask and either showed a handgun or implied he had a weapon.

No victims were hurt during the robberies.

If convicted, Roesler faces up to 20 years in prison per first-degree robbery charge and up to 15 years per second-degree robbery charge.
