Hand Sanitizer Giveaway: Anoka County Pumps Out 400 Free Gallons At Fairgrounds

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Hand sanitizer and other cleaning products are hard to come by these days as we all make an extra effort to stay healthy.

So to help, Anoka County gave away more than 400 gallons of hand sanitizer Tuesday at their fairgrounds.

People were able to roll right up in their cars and get it into bottles they brought themselves. A couple people WCCO talked to said they waited about an hour.

Organizers say they might get to do this again, but they don't have any future dates set.
