Amy's Kitchen Recalls Frozen Entrees Due To Listeria Concerns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More than a dozen frozen food products are being recalled over listeria contamination concerns Tuesday morning.

Amy's Kitchen is recalling 19 different frozen entrees containing organic spinach. These include vegetable lasagna, tofu scramble, brown rice and vegetables, pasta shells, spinach pizza and enchiladas.

Amy's Kitchen said it issued the recall "out of an abundance of caution" after it was notified by a supplier that the spinach may have been contaminated with listeria.

Listeria can cause serious or even fatal infections.

Customers can return the frozen meals to the store where they were purchased for an exchange or refund.

For a complete list of items covered by the recall, visit the U.S. Food and Drug Administration online.
