AMBER alert for 3-year-old boy canceled

MINNEAPOLIS — An AMBER Alert issued for a 3-year-old boy was canceled on Friday night, after the child was found safe by law enforcement.

The alert was issued shortly after 9 p.m.

Red Lake Tribal Police said the child had been abducted, and were looking for a 36-year-old woman.

The alert was canceled around 10:30 p.m. The woman was taken into custody.
