Amazon Adds Liquor To 1-Hour Delivery In Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Amazon's one-hour delivery service will now deliver alcohol to Prime members in Minneapolis-St. Paul and surrounding areas.

Amazon Prime Now offers a number of grocery items delivered quickly, a service the company debuted roughly a year and a half ago.

The service area covers not only the Twin Cities, but surrounding suburbs as well, such as Eden Prairie, Burnsville and Woodbury.

On Thursday, Amazon announced that they had partnered with Surdyk's to add liquor to their list of items available for fast delivery.

The service is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
