Afton Alps Opens For Season Friday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Looking for something to do other than shopping this Friday? Head to Afton Alps!

Afton Alps will open the slopes Friday at 10 a.m.

Spokesperson Molly Steinke said this year the ski area is supporting Valley Outreach, a human service organization in Stillwater.

On Saturday, Nov. 28 only, anyone who brings a non-perishable food item to donate to Valley Outreach will receive $5 off their lift ticket.
