Officers Clear Driveway After Helping Shoveler Who Collapsed

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – After helping a person get to the hospital Monday after they collapsed shoveling the driveway, officers from the Willmar Police Department finished the chore for the person's family.

The department posted on its Facebook page that officers Joshua Helgeson and Marco Vazquez cleared the family's driveway before returning to duty.

They also performed CPR on the person who collapsed and administered a shock with an automated external defibrillator.

An ambulance brought the person to Rice Hospital for treatment. They later died.
