'It's Over Now': Adrian Peterson Sings After Surgery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Following his knee surgery last week, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson felt well enough to sing.

On Tuesday, video of Peterson's crooning was shared with the world, via his Instagram account.

"It's over now, it's over now…I feel like I can make it," Peterson sings.

In the caption, the running back says he doesn't remember singing in his hospital bed, but adds that his wife likely recorded the video after he woke up from anesthesia.

On Wednesday, the video had nearly 100,000 views.

Peterson was in the hospital last Thursday for surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee, an injury he suffered at the Vikings home opener against Green Bay.

Coach Mike Zimmer said the 31-year-old running back would be out for at least three weeks, if not the rest of the year.

Since the injury, many have wondered whether or not Peterson will ever play again as a Viking.
