Missing Crystal Vulnerable Teen Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A teen who went missing Friday in Crystal has been found safe.

Aaron Thomas, 16, was last seen at about 3:20 p.m. Friday leaving a group home in Crystal.

Police say Thomas is considered a vulnerable teenager. His family thought he may try to go to the Mall of America or somewhere in Minneapolis.

Thomas is 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has blond or light-brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a gray, tight-fitting, zip-up athletic sweatshirt, as well as black jeans and possibly an orange T-shirt. He was also wearing black and gray Nike shoes.

Police say Thomas may become agitated and run if confronted.

Crystal police said Saturday morning that Thomas was found safe.
