A Frigid Start To Another Chilly Week

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Sunday morning brought crystal clear skies and subzero temperatures to Minnesota, and more arctic cold is on the way.

Forecaster Kylie Bearse says the overnight temperatures will drop to 10 below zero, and Monday morning will be just as frigid as Sunday.

Tuesday offers a break from the cold, when temperatures jump back to average. The highs are expected to be near 30 degrees, and there is a chance for morning snow in the south.

As February winds up, the cold comes back. Temperatures will struggle to reach higher than the low teens on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, they aren't expected to break 20.

By next weekend, the highs look to be in the low 20s.
