88-Year-Old Truck Driver Hits 2 Teens In Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Minn. (WCCO) -- Two teenagers are recovering after being hit by an 88-year-old driver in Zimmerman on Tuesday morning.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's office says Barney Horvath hit a 14- and 15-year-old boy with his pickup as they walked along a road at about 10:30 a.m.

Both boys were taken to an area hospital, one of them by helicopter.

The sheriff's office is investigating.
