5th Annual Twin Cities Film Fest Opens Thursday

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) — The fifth annual Twin Cities Film Fest kicks off Thursday in St. Louis Park.

Some big fall movies will be screened, including "Wild" starring Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon as a woman hiking the Pacific Coast Trail to find herself, and "The Imitation Game," with "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch playing World War II British code-breaker Alan Turing.

Also on the schedule is "Juno" director Jason Reitman's new movie, "Men, Women & Children," and "Laggies," a new comedy starring Keira Knightley and Chloe Grace Moretz.

This year's centerpiece film is the documentary "Hunger in America." A gala screening will be held Oct. 22, with a portion of the proceeds going to the St. Louis Park Food Shelf.

The festival runs through Oct. 25 at ShowPlace ICON Theatre.
