Police: 50 Stolen Items Recovered From U-Haul In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Police Department is looking for residents who might have had items or packages stolen from their homes or garages in the past week.

Investigators in the Western District of St. Paul recovered property they believe is stolen, but don't know who the rightful owners are. Authorities say at about 5 p.m. last Thursday, police were called to the area of Cretin and Randolph on a possible package theft involving suspects driving a U-Haul.

Officers located the vehicle a short time later in the area of Dale and Thomas. The vehicle was stopped, the suspects were arrested and about 50 stolen items were recovered.

Anyone in the area who hasn't had a package delivered or has items missing from their home or garage within the past week should call authorities at (651) 266-5416.
