Minnesota politicians react to government shutdown, and more headlines

A man found a box containing about 50 sticks of dynamite on Wednesday inside a building on his recently purchased property in Medina, Minnesota.

The West Suburban Fire Department said they were called around 11:30 a.m. to the property off Mohawk Drive and Lost Horse Road, about 3 miles northwest of Medina Golf & Country Club and the Medina Entertainment Center.

The man told officials he found the box while cleaning out one of the property's storage buildings. Fire officials said the condition of the dynamite was unknown.
