5 Minnesotans Make Forbes' 400 Wealthiest List

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Five Minnesotans have made the list for wealthiest people in the country.

The top 400 richest Americans are reported by Forbes magazine every year.

And the highest ranking from Minnesota at number 133 is Whitney MacMillan.

He's part owner of agribusiness giant Cargill, and worth about $3.8 billion.

Broadcasting mogul Stanley Hubbard is 302 on the list.

Glen Taylor is at 368 with $1.7 billion.

He's owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Lynx and Star Tribune.

Tied at 383 are sisters Marilyn Carlson Nelson and Barbara Carlson Gage.

Each are worth $1.6 billion.

The same five were on last year's list.

No surprise, Bill Gates is at the top spot for the 21st year in a row.

The Microsoft founder is worth $81 billion!
