Vue Lor Killed By House Fire In Western Wisconsin, 5 More Hospitalized

MENOMONIE, WIS. (AP) — One man is dead and five people, including four children, are injured after a house fire in Dunn County, authorities say.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old Vue Lor was unable to make it out of the house fire and died of smoke inhalation. Three helicopters airlifted the other victims to different hospitals to be treated for thermal injuries and lacerations.

The fire happened Sunday afternoon in Spring Brook Township. The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says six people were in the house at the time.

Two other adults who live at the house were not home at the time that the fire started.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
