4-Year-Old And Her Mother Seriously Injured In Crow Wing County Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A head-on collision between a car and a pick-up truck in Crow Wing county left a 4-year-old girl and her mother seriously injured.

Macy Kujava, 24, and her daughter, Sophia, 4, both of Nisswa, Minnesota, were driving in their Honda Civic south on County Road 3, near Tamarack Lake Road, when they were hit by a pick-up truck that had crossed over the center line.

The driver of the pick-up, Vaugn Gentry, 39, of Barnesville, Minnesota, was also injured.

All three were hospitalized from their injuries.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office said road conditions were likely a factor in the crash.

The sheriff's office and the state patrol are investigating the incident.
