4 Vikings Defensive Starters Out Thursday At Arizona

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Vikings will be without at least four regular starters on defense when they travel to face the Arizona Cardinals Thursday night in a big game for both teams.

The Vikings announced Wednesday that nose tackle Linval Joseph, safety Harrison Smith and linebacker Anthony Barr will not play against the Cardinals due to injuries. Joseph missed Sunday's loss to the Seahawks, and Barr and Smith played two series before leaving the game with injuries. Safety Andrew Sendejo has also been ruled out with a knee injury.

Safety Robert Blanton was limited in practice Wednesday and is questionable to play Thursday night.

The Cardinals are 10-2 on the season, and the Vikings are tied with the Packers for the lead in the NFC North at 8-4 with four games remaining.
