MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Aug. 28, 2016.

Number One: Man Confesses In Nun Murders

A man suspected of killing two nuns in their Mississippi home has confessed to the killings, officials in the state say.

Rodney Sanders, 46, was arrested and charged in the deaths of Sister Margaret Held and Sister Paula Merrill. They were both 68.

The county sheriff said Sanders did not give a reason for the crimes.

Number Two: Back To School

It's back to school for students in the Minneapolis School District.

Superintendent Ed Graff, who is new this year, will ride the bus to school Monday morning with Lucy Laney students in north Minneapolis.

Number Three: Vikings Play First Game At U.S. Bank Stadium

It's a pre-season game against the San Diego Chargers.

The game starts at noon.

If you don't have a ticket to the game, you can still check out the new Vikings Village outside the stadium.

There will be music, performances, giveaways, facepainting and much more.

Number Four: Cooks Day At The Fair

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Carousel Park, you can watch live cooking demonstrations and discussions with chefs, cooks, and farmers.

Later, the Dixie Chicks will perform again on the Grandstand. It's their second sold-out show in a row at the State Fair.
