4 Things To Know For Jan. 24, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Jan. 24, 2016.

Number One: Snowstorm Leaves The East Coast

The snow has stopped and the travel ban has been lifted in New York City, but there are flood concerns along the Jersey Shore as another high tide moves in.

Big chunks of ice flowed down flooded streets in Ocean City, New Jersey on Saturday. The National Weather Service issued a warning for the coast until noon.

Number Two: Escaped Inmates

The search continues for three inmates who escaped from a maximum-security jail in Southern California on Friday.

The men cut through half-inch steel bars and rappelled from the roof by a makeshift rope.

One of the inmates is an alleged killer.

Authorities say there was some kind of disturbance at the Orange County Central Men's Jail that may have been part of the escape plan.

Number Three: Bloomberg Mulling White House Run

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is seriously considering a run for president if the general election becomes a contest between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.

The New York Times says the 73-year-old media mogul would be willing to spend $1 billion of his own money on a White House bid as an independent.

Number Four: Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt

The first clue is out this morning for the Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt.

Here it is:

"Last year's rich bounty was found in the county
A new park for all to explore
This year's bauble will cause you no trouble
If the rules are kept in the fore"

The medallion is worth up to $10,000.
