4 Things To Do From Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The weather outside may get a bit frightful as the weekend rolls on, but don't let that deter you from having fun! Here are the top four things to get out and do, which were covered by Natalie Nyhus and Mike Augustyniak on WCCO 4 Saturday Morning!

1. Gov. Mark Dayton will declare Saturday "Bob Dylan Day in Minnesota." Dayton said Dylan was a true son of the Iron Range, and spoke to a generation of young Americans. Dylan will be awarded the Nobel Prize Saturday night in Sweden. The event starts at 3 p.m. at Hibbing High School.

2. Holidazzle is at Loring Park in downtown Minneapolis, showcasing food, art and local music. You're welcome to stroll through the festive lights and enjoy the holiday experience in the heart of the city. Holidazzle is open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

3. Walk around Minneapolis' Mill City District for the first ever "Winterfest." There will be horse-drawn carriage rides, hot chocolate and caroling. It's happening outside the Mill City Museum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

4. And something exciting is happening at U.S. Bank Stadium Saturday -- and it's not a Vikings game! Three-hundred dump trucks are expected to load thousands of tons of dirt onto the field Saturday and Sunday for Monster Jam! Click here for more info.
