Minnesota United spent the first two games of the new season on the road, but they have their home opener Saturday night in Blaine against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Food trucks like El Burrito Mercado, Twins Tasty Truck and Baldy's BBQ will be there. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15 to $36.
It's "Record Store Day" across the country and here in the Twin Cities. Special vinyl, CD releases and promotional products are offered exclusively for the day. More than 30 locations in Minnesota are taking part this year, including Barely Brothers Records in St. Paul and Electric Fetus and Fifth Element in Minneapolis.
Savor Minnesota, the one-stop opportunity to sample the best wine from nearly 20 local vendors, is in its seventh year. There is also beer from local breweries and great food. Doors open at noon, while beer and wine will be served from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $45 at the door, and you must be 21 to attend.
It's also the Antique Spectacular at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. This is Prime Promotions biggest show of the year. The "Spectacular" connects the public with a wide variety of items from dealers across the Midwest. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $6.
