4 St. Paul Schools Go Into Lockdown After Report Of Shots Fired

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Four schools in St. Paul's Summit-University neighborhood, including Central High School, went into lockdown mode earlier Thursday following a report of shots fired in the area.

School district spokesman Toya Stewart-Downey says that's standard procedure:

According to St. Paul police, they received multiple reports of shots being fired in the area of Selby and Victoria avenues shortly before noon Thursday.

He says investigators have found no evidence of a shooting and no suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
