4 Rescued From Car In Wisconsin Flood Waters

TOWN OF PERU, Wis. (AP) — Emergency crews have rescued four people whose car became trapped in flood waters in western Wisconsin.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says a 911 caller reported around 10 p.m. Saturday that water was entering the vehicle in the Town of Peru along the Chippewa River.

Authorities say the four occupants had gotten onto the roof of the car to avoid the flood waters. Crews were able to safely remove the occupants.

No one was hurt, except for being exposed to the cold water.
